Okay so video review for Tank - “Next Breath”
When I first heard this song on the radio here in Columbus, Ohio I thought it was phenomenal. Then I actually listened to the words and my boy Tank sounded a little needy just by the chorus alone. “I need you more than my next breath” which I heard him say before in the movie “The Preacher’s Kid” when he told Letoya Lucket’s character as she was trying to escape “Girl, you need me more than you need your next breath” hence I believe the inspiration for this song.
Next I saw the video and then came crawling back the emotions I felt from my relationships with phsyco ex-boyfriends past. First Tank is sitting down reminiscing on good times with his girlfriend. In anger he rips everything off of the wall in his beautiful fully furnished and decorated apartment he has in the video. Then he starts stapling pictures of the ex-girlfriend on the wall. Dude made a full blown shrine! He even lit candles! I don’t know it just really creeped me out
Ladies how would you feel if you walked into your ex’s house only to see a shrine dedicated to you. I know I’d freak out. Tank was a little obsessed with this girl to the point of idolatry. I hope he’s not like this in real life. Otherwise I will pray for him and the next poor soul he dates. Tell me what you think people! The video is right above so watch!
